"To Where You Are" 的原唱者是 Josh Groban, 非常感人的一首歌與歌聲。不過自己第一次聽到的卻是 Chloe 演唱的版本。2004年夏秋之交，在台灣剛聽到這首歌不久，便造訪倫敦，期間Chloe這首歌的歌聲不斷縈繞耳際，不管在地鐵、公園或清晨的旅館，只要一回到自己當時鬱悶的內心裡時，這位英國小女孩的這首歌聲便迴響腦海，說不清是自己看到的英國使我想起Chloe的歌聲，還是Chloe的歌聲裡有著我所感覺到的英國？也因此，我的第一次英國印象便與Chloe的這首歌糾結不清了。
在英國印象之前，這首歌其實已給我非常深刻的感觸，除了Chloe的聲音，還有歌詞。「讓我飛到遙遠的星子外，你所在之處；期盼今晚能見到你的笑顏，就算是一下下也好，讓我知道你是在那裡，就在一息之遠處....」（Fly me up to where you are; Beyond the distant star; I wish upon tonight to see you smile; If only for awhile to know you're there; A breath away's not far to where you are ）是的，這就是我的一個心情，自認識你以來，又經過生死關頭後，一直一直迴盪於心中至今也沒有消失的心情。
不過，"To Where You Are"是一首情歌嗎？也可能不是。細究歌詞，說不定歌曲中的"You"對原作者而言，其實指的是"God"也未可知。然而對我而言，此仍無損其原本在我心中的深切印象與迴響著的情感！究竟什麼是愛？ 隨著年歲漸長，也早已明瞭愛遠遠不是「愛」這樣簡單的一個字或單純的一種喜愛的情感而已。
只是，能夠永遠都見得到你、找到你嗎？雖然，我也不知道什麼叫做「永遠」。我們都只是地球人生裡短暫的過客，不知道此生的以前，也不知道此生的以後，但我還是徒勞的希望、盼望著，只要自己還留有記憶，便總是能夠找到你、望著你，看到你那「一切都好」的笑顏。
